When going on a holiday or buying a new season - it’s always a dread to me that my case gets lost, never to return with all my fave items in! I don’t want to speak too soon, but it hasn’t yet - but my stomach churns whilst I wait for the conveyer belt to glide along with my wardrobe case.
Sometimes my clients experience this feeling when they want their entire wardrobe to goand establish a new fashion identity or if you like begin a new chapter in their life.
Perhaps for emotional or professional junctias in their lives.
Just feel lost in style sense?
I also find it an issue when clothes in earlier years stay with people perhaps for longer - sentimental reasons and the change from a teen to a twenty plus mature is not reflected in their wardrobe and they see themselves as ‘grown up’ now!?
A stylist as I am sees it not always as necessary to dismiss everything. I like to work with what my clients have, take from them some of their past wears.
My services are not just for rich and famous people as I’ve said many times before. I’m not just a personal shopper but a ‘wardrobe organiser’ to every Tom, Dick or Harriett that comes my way.
I have plenty of experience with people in fashion crisis and sometimes I hear myself now being called a ‘Fashion Doctor’.

Women 1st - take a look at today’s chosen capsule that consists of classic buys to suit your wardrobe and you can jazz up with accessories and different style shoes for work events, still feeling down to earth and not out of place in your local bar for example.
I don’t see it as fashion but it’s the look that suits your life NOW.
What ‘look’ are you? What shape are you?
Bra fitting is always important - start from the skin outwards.
Underwear has to be comfortable and work, that way the look of the clothes just follow on.
You will notice your bust and shape is immediately flattering your silhouette. It shouldn’t be embarrassing to anyone, people are all different shapes and sizes - remember that.
From my consultation, I can visit your wardrobe or you can detail me via this site/email what you have and I work with that information given to me. Moving forward from there…
a shopping session (high speed and focused) is enjoyed. Be warned, I do get excited when finding THE ITEM that the client thinks is an impossible. I steer the client away from their comfort zone and loads of items are tried on from places/brands never experienced before.

I check the shades are right and this is so important if for example of hair colour changing (or holiday skin).
eg:
Brunette: Autumnal colours.
Pale Skin: Red, Navy, Dark grey shades.
There are so many different shades and lighting has a big effect, I never like to stick to a few shades - experiment on the day.
Weight changes all the time. Named brands sizes are all different, so a size 8-10 for example is really only a guide - never fear trying on a size up or below.
Love your legs……..wear heels and fake tan to wear more skirts, dresses and shorts. When I visit my clients in the first instance, so many are literally giving up because they have never really worn heels, no confidence in walking in them and hate their legs because they’ve never really seen daylight!
Sometimes be prepared to be ruthless to move on in life.
