ON TREND MATTERS @ BODY KIND

You know, it’s not just about following the latest trends in fashion.
As I’ve mentioned before today style is about looking good effortlessly and feeliing fab from head to toe.

That ‘feel good’ factor that every girl needs a once in a while.

1. You get your hair styled, a cut and a few shades perhaps to keep an on-trend style continuing.

2. Your style of dress continues - yes you buy the odd fashion fix to compliment your wardrobe classics.

Unhappy still? When you look in the mirror, do you find something still isn’t right? When applying your make up, perhaps you’re not 100% happy and this can also knock your confidence. Perhaps skin blemishes, you’ve noticed your skin starting to sag?

WELL, HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU!

Celebrities in America and UK are stopping the plastic surgery and opting for the safe option the non-surgical facelift

3.
MICROCURRENT FACIAL.

I have just been along to visit Jill Ingham, Director of Body Kind, Thorpe Bay and experience my first course of treatment! I notice the difference already - amazing results.

You want to know more……
This is a relaxing facial treatment that re-educates your facial muscles by stimulating them and reprogramming your muscle fibres. A Microcurrent treatment mirrors your body’s own natural current and works in harmony with your body’s electrical system.

What are the benefits? I hear you ask!

Well, a Microcurrent treatment is used to combat the signs of ageing and to enhance the absorption of moisturising products, offering you the following benefits and more besides:-

FACIAL LIFTING AND CONTOURING, IMPROVING SKIN COLOUR AND TEXTURE, SMOOTHES FINE LINES BY ATTRACTING COLLAGEN TO THE SITE, REDUCES PUFFINESS AND DARK CIRCLES AROUND THE EYES.

What better time to book an appointment with Jill.
The Cost £28.00 for an individual treatment or better still book in for a course of treatments at ONLY £20 - 5 treatments for the price of 4!

I have always suffered with my sinuses and my eyes get really dry and puffy. I started to see a difference in my skin particularly when I reached 35+ - it was no longer as taught as I was used to.

I have never agreed with BOTOX and was thrilled when Jill bought this latest machine. It’s painless and I can quite easily see it being a ’safe addiction’. Why?
I noticed a difference just after a 45 minute session and I can’t wait til next week. I bumped into people that I know in The Broadway and remarked on how well I looked. What had changed?

That’s my secret I’m sharing with you!

Jill’s salon I don’t regard as a typical beauty salon. Jill and her team have a very holistic approach, a calming atmosphere and very private and confidential approach.

Microcurrent has been used on the human body since the 1940s, and presents an alternative to lasers and infrared phototherapy commonly applied to the facial area for skin rejuvenation.

ENHANCE YOUR APPEARANCE

Incorporate just £20 into your beauty regime budget or if you have a special event/function treat yourself or put it down as a present.

I am pleased to say I feel totally fresh, my skin feels alive and yes I could even look 10 years younger!!

………a circulating facial workout - so relaxing!! xx

Salon International Pics

Take a look at some of these shots:

Salon International Event

A long but great bustling day
SALON INTERNATIONAL EVENT held at Excel, London with 250 Exhibitors which did include BaByliss Pro, Denman, Hair Tools, Rusk, TIGI and Toni & Guy to name but a few.

I went along with SALON DOCTOR Steve Winder also owner and Director Secrets Hairdressing

A lot of inspiring visuals on stage.

Models
Clothes: Red/White, Black/White - theatrical and rock-like. Pleased to see sequins, embellishment, frills and lace.

Hair: Striking vibrancy - Blond/Blue, Black/Red, Black/Pink and Red hues in general. Curls, asymmetrical, shaved sides and harsh bob cut fringes.

Make-up: As theatrical as possibly could. Orange, pink and green blends and eyelashes bigger the better!

Influenced by: 1920’s/1950’s/1980’s.

It was great also to chat again with celebrity Hair Stylist Jim Shaw, Essensuals salon in Billericay, Essex, last seen glamming up celebs and VIPS at this year’s V Festival and enjoying his busy lifestyle.

It was wonderful to walk around and admire the British Hairdressing Awards gallery reviewing finalists creations from the 2009 British Hairdressing Awards which is sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional.

All-in-all a great atmosphere.

Celebrity bargain hunting

Paris Hilton just one of the celebrities spotted this week in Hollywood grabbing a bargain to wear.

TIP: Just because it’s in the sale and looks good, doesn’t mean it will on you! Remember no impulse buys to cram up your wardrobe.

Marks & Spencer Returns Policy

Filed under: FASHION AROUND THE GLOBE, Fashion, Shopping — Tags: , — Michelle @ 12:34 am

If you haven’t yet worn your purchase from M & S because you’re not quite sure about it - take a look at your receipt and make sure you are in the time zone for it to be returned.

Yes, no longer the 90-day deadline but an introduction to a 35-day returns policy, which has seen signs being displayed in the stores about the change since April this year, although there is still a lot of uproar amongst their customers.

But I understand the bosses of M & S have to be in line with the rest of their market competitors otherwise it just doesn’t work for them. Times have moved on and people have to accept the change. Anyway, their refund policy is still better than most - it’s normally 28 days!

LFW - MAN IN TOWN

There is never enough spoken about men’s fashion at LFW but a full day was devoted to menswear fashion Spring/Summer 2010.

I’m pleased as British Menswear fashion has a superb new balance of talent. You only to take a browse round the ‘on trend’ shops now to notice

James Long was one of the first to take Menswear Fashion on to the next step to being noticed. The pic below clearly displays ‘acid army’ and Warhol inspirations.

Tim Blanks - Men Style

That look works for me and speaks absolute style in every way - the bag, the layering, trousers and shoes up to cut of the hair style.

Take note lads if you dare! Obviously doesn’t suit all shapes but the point of this - take what you can from it, even if it’s to wear one item and incorporate it into your own style.
