Designer Wedding Theme 2010 and Beyond

Filed under: Special Occasions, WEDDING STYLING — Tags: , , , , , , , , — Michelle @ 3:52 pm

Spring/Summer 2010

White? Traditional
Oyster? Romantic
Ivory? Natural
Colour? Contemporary
Black? Dramatic
Silver? Glitz
Bronze? Artistic
Gold? Glamour

What is on your wish list? Are you looking for the ‘wow’ factor?

For Example:
VERA WANG, an influential designer included included a theatrical black dress within her bridal 2010 collection.

Are you fashion forward?
It doesn’t matter if you’re not. There’s something to suit each and everyone’s personality and what they want to remember from their special day.

There will always be the white dress, of course but fashion has changed dramatically for the better with people wanting to be more individual, being so much more creative with their style and personality. You may remember about 12 years ago now Sarah Jessica Parker, Sex and the City celebrity wore a black dress on her wedding day.

Seasons make such a big difference to the style and look of your wedding - is it to be Spring/Summer/Autumn/Wiinter?

Colour and back ground are so important - that’s why I like to work closely with ‘the photographer’.

From looking at the Catwalks this year, 2010 are doing away with white and pastel shades of recent times.

As I have seen especially this passed year the fashion changes being centred around boldness, brightness and confident statement pieces as are 2010 wedding trends. You of course don’t have to follow the trend and could bring a bright shade somewhere else.

Perhaps you have found your dress but wish to make it more your own with some defining detail with lace, embroidery or crystal work.

Large satin bows

As mentioned above COLOUR and RED is top trend. This looks wonderful with snow on the ground. If Oyster and Ivory is your theme then for example turquoise accessories for you to compliment your bridesmaids - this could easily be done with a wide sash on a simple dress.

The teal, turquoise shades equally look tremendously spectacular for a beach-themed wedding.

Tasteful vibrancy, elegance and sophistication is needed for the utmost Fashionable Wedding 2010 and beyond.

Body Sculpturing 2010

Get your figure in shape and show of those assets you’ve had hidden for years.

Get ready to be a little transparent. If you are the daring type, you’ll be wearing pieces, you never thought you could have cut-outs!!

Nude colours, tight high hemlines, lingerie will be your outerwear and you just know where this will lead to……..great if you’re single and you really want to show off what’s underneath as it were!!

Bring out your corsets - can you still fit in them? If not, throw there’s nothing worse than an ill-fitting corset.

Remember - it’s a feminine trend and you have to instill just a little into your wardrobe - get the balance right. It’s feminine. Get the look orchestrated and can have elegant and power appeal.

mmm - anyone dating and wanting me to help, now I wonder?

Look at some great investment buys tomorrow to be ready in 2010.

Day to Date

Filed under: Photoshoots, STYLE, Special Occasions — Tags: , , , , , , — Michelle @ 12:26 am

Whatever site you are on, your photograph you really want to capture peoples attention straight away.

It’s all about the quick impact attraction rule.

Your date may be a new face or rekindled romance with your partner, when time can be so short.

Wear something flirty, fun and romantic:

Flirty: Something fitted to show off your best assets - wear a soft feminine fabric. On the date, you’ll be feeling confident in what you’re wearing anyway. Your manner will show absolute confidence in a ‘nice’ way.
Fun: Something edgy - for example nude tights, knee high socks and ankle boots rather than shoes or knee high boots.
Romantic: Lace adds ’sexy’ in a top, scarf or fingerless gloves.

Keep an air of mystery…………enjoy x
