You don’t have to go for the whole look, it’s easy to take parts from it to suit you as an individual.

Looking to Date? This will make any girl scream ‘Yes’.

Here’s the look I’ve created for you.
As well as details of how much and where you can buy….
but of course if you need any help, you know where I am to assist you.

HOW ABOUT THESE ALTERNATIVE ITEMS I’VE PERSONALLY SELECTED FOR YOU.

1. Beginning with your outer layer…

Great Wardrobe Investment - work to social-weekday-weekend.
The Raincoat and this one will actually keep you warm as well with its quilted lining and I know you guys love your comfort!

2. Spend as much as your budget allows on JEANS.

Two of my favourites for classic design and fit are Hugo Boss ‘Black’ range (the Hugo Boss ‘Orange’ range are too casual for this look) and Armani. Today I’ve shown a Hugo Boss Black pair at a quality price.

2 different looks is a well worth investment.

Well, as you can see I’ve chosen a Cardigan as another option still
having the same effect with this look. If not, opt for a V-neck
sweater.

5. Shirt
For smart, clean cut look is a collar.

I love colour and I don’t like an outfit looking too conservative but I would never insist on a client of mine wearing something they would never be comfortable in and not suit their personality.

7.

HACKETT Snow Polo Hat £60.00

HACKETT Snow Polo Hat £60.00

……All you have to do is buy your underwear - Y-fronts or boxers and socks and nothing too boring - a little stripe, a little colour to compliment your scarf or shirt perhaps?

ONE LOOK - DRESS UP OR DRESS DOWN - FOR WEEK KEEP IT BLACK-GREY-NAVY BLUE AND JUST ADD DIFFERENT SCARF FOR WEEKEND LOOK TO CREATE SOME FUN?

MENSWEAR AUTUMN STYLE

Filed under: Autumn/Winter 09, Fashion, Shopping, Wardrobe Makeover — Tags: , , — Michelle @ 12:59 am

A chunky knit to a statement coat….just 2 trends that may work for your wardrobe this autumn to combine tailoring and different textures.

Menswear is as important to me and has been seen to be getting stronger each year as Ladieswear.

WHAT TO BUY?

What would I recommend for a winter coat?

Think of this purchase as an investment to be worn at work or special occasions and will last for future seasons. There is so much choice out there from military-style to a mixed wool classic.

When you try on the coat, the coat should be flattering to your height falling just around the knee. A loose style generally is more flattering to your trouser.

What would I recommend for a strong trend piece?

The catwalk saw the ‘chunky knit’ a strong trend. Large necks, sleeves and collars. A hand-knitted look (and it’s not like a relative would knit you years ago)…..worn right, a masculine, yet sexy look. So as not to appear chunky, make sure the length is short and another idea depending on the style, layer with a long shirt underneath to lengthen and flatter your silhouette.

What colours? I only ever see black or grey!

Everyone needs a bit of colour in their life. Look outside and nature is colour…….Green is everywhere and is one of the seasonal on-trend shades and blends well with black and grey.

Check out different high street stores and your favourite designers.

Safe Shirt

Yes, you could say the crisp white shirt is the best item for a guy. It’s sharp and it’s smart.

White doesn’t suit a lot of people unless you have an olive or darker skin.

Be sharper and smarter…….

Opt for a cream tone. This you will find to be so much warmer for your complexion. You won’t look so pale and washed out.

Wear to the office, a dress down day or at the weekend to get maximum use.

Perfect with autumn colours through to spring and beyond.

And yes, you can still wear it as you would a white.

1. With a suit. Add a tie.
2. On its own and open collar.
3. Under a colourful thin knit or jacket.
4. Turn up your sleeves and wear with jeans.

TM LEWIN reduced to £34.50

Both these shirts are made to last with their style of stitching and at great value.

TIP: Look out for a shirt with 2 darts in the back creating a slim, close body fit.

Teen Guys to Twenties Style

Go on - be wild and bear in mind buying one full outfit will see you wearing it with other items in your wardrobe.
Layering is the way forward for this season

Check out TOPMANfor some great inspiration.

There’s lots of checks with tartan - mix and match.

Why not opt for a bright colour T-shirt to match your skin tone with a tartan shirt for example in a different colour then a checked jacket with jeans - super cool trendy look. This look can easily be worn with a hoody as well.

Coats at TOPMAN are ranging from below £50 to £100.

Style Tips for MEN

So guys I know you want hassle free shopping…………why don’t you have a wardrobe makeover then? No-one understands your body better than you but sometimes you just need a helping hand.

I feel men are much better with their suit purchasing but need direction on their casual, informal wear.

Now remember women are interested in the whole package.
Women do not like a man who spends too much time on their appearance so you have to get the art of grooming right from the start.

Keep separates plain and smart, Ts’ are fine, shirts with jeans/trousers are more sophisticated.

Dark jeans are so much more stylish.

Winter will I am afraid be soon settling in………invest in a good quality coat before its too late.

Interviews take time and preparation - dark suits are best with a crisp ironed shirt.

You need to get the cut and style right for your body shape - I can help.

Accessories - watches, ties, cufflinks and wallets show the type of person you are.

No what to wear and when to wear it.

If you wear glasses, then it is extremely important to get the correct shape for your face.

Hair must be a stylish cut - a good hair stylist is imperative- you pay to have a good hair cut, you need to get the rest of your grooming right to go along with it.

Womens pet hates:
Dirty finger nails, holes in clothes, creased clothes, stained clothing, unclean, bad breath, unsightly hair, bad dress sense, football/rugby or any sport logos on shirts, etc, don’t drown in aftershave but get the measure right, sweat patches under the arms - use a good anti-perspirant, women hate body odour!

NOW REMEMBER - BE FOCUSED AND DECISIVE. YOU TOO CAN BE SUAVE AND STYLISH.

Why not give me a call whatever your age, shape and size.
